Personal computers and laptops, and all computer components are covered by official supplier warranties. The warranty is a “carry-in”. Certain brands have collect and return warranties, while some goods can be purchased with on-site warranty options at date of purchase.
Most leading brands in South Africa now have national after sales technical service centres for all customers. Additional care packs can be purchased for HP systems on initial purchase. Warranty extensions should be purchased together with your new DELL device when you initially order it.
Irrespective of warranty type, all product warranties are covered by the original supplier only.
Due to the new Consumer Act – All consumers purchasing ICT goods in South Africa are to keep the original packaging and accessories as supplied with the original sale of any ICT goods purchased.
A grey import is the trade of a commodity through distribution channels which are unofficial, unauthorized, or unintended by the original manufacturer. We do not sell nor do we offer support on grey imports, we also do not support systems with illegally installed software.
